Diet

June 2010

Keeping my calories to 3000 per day, I record every thing I eat and when I eat it. 3000 calories should help me get my weight down.

March 2010

Sticking with all the above, and now cutting out chips from my diet also making a effort to eat fish a least five times per week, weather that is with lunch or dinner.

My weight is now sitting at around 15 stone so 1 stone to go.

February 2010

Sundays still my cheat day, and have now stop any food after my evening sessions all I have now is a pint off milk for the protein, also cutting down on fat now don't use any marg on food i.e., jacket potatoes and sandwiches etc.

January 2010

Nothing changing for January really, just cutting out chocolate, crisps, full fat fizzy drinks.

Sunday is my cheat day which means I can eat what I want and get all the cravings out the way.

Recipes

Apple smoothie

200 grams fresh apple juice

200 grams cored apples

10 ice cubes

2 grams cinnamon

Add to blender and mix until smooth 

 

Tuna burgers

 1 can tuna (drained)

 2 egg whites

 1-tablespoon oats

 1 carrot

 Mixed herbs

 Blend all ingredients together

 Mould into burger shapes

 cook in non-stick pan with spray oil or olive oil

 Heat slowly

Fish Kedgeree

250g salmon

125g brown rice

2 cloves garlic

1 tbsp paprika

chillies to taste

soy sauce

2 eggs

1/2 onion

1 tbsp olive oil

pinch of turmeric

good pinch curry powder

1 lemon

2 spring onions chopped

salt and pepper to taste.
